The 2016 Inmar Analytics Forum, held in Winston-Salem on April 12 – 14, 2016, was a resounding success. More than 800 people, including attendees from over 20 Fortune 100 companies, major retailers and CPG manufacturers participated in this year’s event, driving attendance to a new record.
Highlights of the event included two keynote addresses by Ray Kurzweil, author and inventor, and Larry Merlo, President and CEO of CVS. From a healthcare perspective, key industry leaders from retail pharmacy, wholesalers, health systems, academia, and subject matter experts joined us in breakout sessions kicked off by a Healthcare State of the Union panel discussion featuring experts from the pharmaceutical industry, health systems and retail that explored the current clinical and financial state of the industry, the shift toward value-based healthcare, data-driven analytics in healthcare, new technology in pharmaceuticals, and what we can expect in the future. 11 of the sessions were ACPE accredited, click here for information on how to claim your credits for the sessions you attended.
We will be featuring key topics discussed during other sessions in the coming newsletters, starting with the article included in this edition about “How Quality is Changing the Business Model.” This topic was covered by Laura Cranston, PQA; Todd Sega – PQS; and our very own Lari Harding, in the Future of Healthcare track of this year’s Forum.
We are proud of the quality event and content we were able to offer, as evidenced by some of your own comments:
“…I was greatly impressed with the entire conference, from quality speakers to quality networking events. I’ve attended many industry conferences but this event stands out as one of the most informative, professional and overall enjoyable conferences.” (Health System)
“Fantastic overall experience!! Well organized. Hot relevant topics. Got to network with others in industry. Got to meet wonderful Inmar associates. Gala was amazing – food, venue, music fantastic.” (Retailer).
We’d like to thank all of you that contributed to the success of the event, by speaking and offering suggestions. We could not have done this without your help! Please let us know if you are interested in speaking or attending our 2017 event.
