Plouffe, a pioneering force in the field of politics, technology and grassroots leadership, built a billion-dollar nationwide organization as campaign manager for Obama for President (2008) that made history electing Barack Obama president. He is an innovator with extensive experience in successfully leading large teams and is now bringing his expertise as a proven field general and strategist to Uber. Plouffe has also served as a senior advisor to President Barack Obama and is the author of the New York Times bestseller, The Audacity to Win: The Inside Story and Lessons of Barack Obama’s Historic Victory.
The title of Plouffe’s presentation is “Big Data – Knowing Instead of Guessing.”
Dr. Mostashari is one of the most influential leaders in healthcare today and is revolutionizing the industry through his innovative approach to using data to dramatically advance patient care and health maintenance. A true visionary, Dr. Mostashari recently co-founded Aledade — a startup focused on helping primary care doctors form accountable care organizations using cutting-edge technology that empowers physicians to better understand patient behavior and improve patient outcomes. Dr. Mostashari was formerly National Coordinator for Health Information Technology for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology and has held posts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. His presentation will be “Data Is Oxygen for Innovation – The Age of Data Coming to Health Care.”
