Inmar Renews and Expands Reverse Distribution and Compliance Agreement with Managed Health Care Associates

April 29, 2026

Inmar Intelligence today announced the renewal and expansion of its agreement with Managed Health Care Associates (MHA) continuing to provide MHA members with access to Inmar’s Rx Returns, recall management, and compliance solutions. The partnership was strengthened with optimized commercial terms and new solution offerings, and went into effect in October 2025.

The renewed agreement builds on a long-standing partnership between Inmar and MHA that supports retail pharmacies, specialty pharmacies, and long-term care providers. Through the agreement, MHA members continue to access Inmar’s reverse distribution and compliance solutions designed to help healthcare organizations meet DEA, EPA, and federal regulatory requirements while improving operational efficiency and patient safety.

As pharmacy operations navigate increasing regulatory complexity and margin pressure, reverse distribution and compliance play a critical role in both financial performance and risk management. Inmar brings returns, recalls, compliance, and disposal together through an integrated approach that supports consistent, auditable workflows across pharmacy operations. In addition to Rx Returns, solutions include RxTransparent for DSCSA compliance with end-to-end visibility into serialized drug data, OneRecall to simplify and automate recall execution, MEdidentify to support EPA compliance for hazardous pharmaceuticals, and Consumer Drug Take-Back Kiosks that enable safe, compliant medication disposal.

For MHA members, the expanded agreement enables work with a single partner across multiple pharmacy functions, helping simplify daily processes and improve visibility and control over returned pharmaceutical products. Inmar’s vertically integrated model and direct-to-source processing support faster revenue recovery by reducing delays and helping ensure expired medications are processed efficiently rather than remaining idle on shelves.

“Inmar’s relationship with MHA is built on supporting pharmacies with infrastructure they can rely on,” said Brian Nightengale, Vice President, Healthcare Solutions at Inmar Intelligence. “This renewed and expanded agreement reflects a shared commitment to helping pharmacies recover value faster, maintain compliance, and operate more efficiently in an increasingly complex environment.”

As the industry leader in reverse distribution, Inmar delivers the scale and expertise needed for safe, compliant, and efficient product disposition, helping pharmacies meet regulatory requirements while minimizing operational risk.
