At Inmar, we've made significant investments across our pharmaceutical returns operations to strengthen security, traceability and accountability for all products processed by Inmar. These enhancements are designed to better protect customer inventory, ensure regulatory readiness, enhance variance investigations and reduce diversion risk.

Maintaining Regulatory Rigor

Regulatory compliance requires rigorous oversight across all operations. Inmar has expanded standardized audit programs, strengthened regulatory reporting workflows, enhanced licensing reviews and implemented KPI-driven monitoring to proactively identify compliance risks and develop targeted mitigation strategies.

Inmar also conducts semi-annual, third-party mock DEA inspections of its facilities. These in-depth, independent assessments are led by nationally recognized controlled substance experts, and are used to evaluate controlled substance handling, documentation and accountability--helping ensure our operations align with ever-evolving regulatory requirements.

Enabling Secure Operations and Enhanced Traceability

Inmar completed construction of its state-of-the art expanded receiving area in 2025. This project added approximately 12,000 sq. ft. of secure, automated and fully scannable receiving space to our flagship processing facility in Grand Prairie, Texas. 

Advanced package traceability technologies—including six-sided package imaging: barcode capture, weight and dimension verification: and transaction history—create a detailed record of movement for every Rx and controlled substance package across the returns process. Images and associated package data are securely retained for two years, providing valuable documentation to support investigations and customer inquiries.

Enhancing Security Across the Returns Lifecycle

Security extends beyond the processing floor.

Inmar has expanded surveillance in its facilities with 146 security cameras providing 357 monitored views, delivering comprehensive visibility across controlled substance handling areas. Live monitoring teams, redundant surveillance capabilities, stringent badge-access controls and GPS-supported transportation monitoring further reinforce secure product handling and support rapid incident response.

We also help customers by tracking their use of recommended tamper-evident packaging. Insights regarding packaging compliance are provided to clients to help them improve their shipping procedures and identify potential transit-related theft or tampering.
