Inmar Intelligence, the data-driven technology-enabled services company, announced today that it has been contracted to execute a consumer drug take-back program in cooperation with the Santa Barbara County Environmental Health Services. In an effort to combat prescription drug abuse in Santa Barbara County, CA, The Safe Drug Disposal Program will provide drug take-back receptacles throughout Santa Barbara and make mail-back envelopes available in hundreds of locations.

Inmar Intelligence is working with the Santa Barbara County Environmental Health Services to expand and enhance access to consumer drug take-back options and protect the state’s environment from the effects of improper disposal of prescription and over-the-counter medications. This program is funded by pharmaceutical manufacturers at no cost to pharmacies, other collectors or county residents.
