Inmar Chairman and CEO Named Among Most Admired
Inmar announced today that its Chairman and CEO David Mounts has been named among Most Admired CEOs. This designation, reported by The Triad Business Journal, recognizes those who are "forward-thinkers. Change agents. Resilient. Steady under pressure. Reasoned. Discerning," in leading their companies and working within the community.
David Mounts joined Inmar as Chief Executive Officer in April 2010 and assumed the additional role of Chairman in February 2014. Among his first initiatives was to establish strong communications plans and processes throughout the company, instituting a culture of positive energy, company-wide teamwork and recognition for performance. That focus on communication laid the foundation for a complete transformation of the company from nine transaction-based disparate businesses to one Inmar brand - a company leading in the areas of data analytics and technology.
In early 2014, Inmar relocated headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC to Wake Forest Innovation Quarter, where it is an anchor tenant. Mounts was immersed in the design of the building — leading the vision from two tobacco processing plants to an award-winning facility for technology and data innovation. Innovation Quarter and Inmar have been featured and recognized nationally — raising awareness for all the Triad region has to offer businesses and talented professionals.
"It is such an honor to accept this award representing the entire Inmar team," says Mounts. "I am also humbled to be recognized alongside leaders for whom I have tremendous respect, my congratulations and appreciation to all of them for what they do to move our community forward in ways that present opportunities for all to grow and prosper."
Honorees will be celebrated at a private reception July 13 and will be publicly recognized Thursday, July 28, at an awards ceremony.
