John Ross, CMO, Inmar and President, Inmar Analytics, will report on the current “state of promotions” as part of his presentation — “Coupons as Catalysts” — at this year’s Promotion Marketing Conference for the Brand Activation Association. The conference will take place October 5 – 7 at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel in West Harrison, NY. John’s presentation is set for 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 7.
John will look at the effect promotions have in moving shoppers to action and explore the factors impacting the position of coupons in the marketing mix, including the accelerating use of trade promotions, changing media preferences among shoppers and the increasing demands by shoppers for more personalized engagement. In addition, John will share data from Inmar’s latest promotion industry analysis, the Inmar Q3 Shopper Promotion Impact Report and the Inmar 2015 Shopper Behavior Study.
The conference is themed “Driving. Action. Now.” and features a strong lineup of speakers. Organizers of the event are describing this conference—brand new for 2015— as “offering two days of inspiration (thought leadership), ideas (new capabilities) and learning (best practices) that will arm attendees with the tools to drive behavior change in today’s brutally competitive environment.”
