POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Regional Director, the incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing operations for a warehouse distribution center in Ft. Worth, Texas.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operations of the facility while ensuring workflow processes, production, quality, safety, and financial objectives are achieved.
- Recognize opportunities for process improvements and effectively implement company approved policies and procedures to drive change throughout the workforce.
- Effectively select, hire, train, develop and lead exempt and non exempt warehouse personnel. Monitor attendance and work schedules.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Ability to:
- Exhibit the drive to succeed with the demonstrated ability to lead, train, mentor, and motivate a workforce of 100+ associates.
- Drive processes with strong analytical and sound decision making skills.
- Maintain established productivity levels in a fast paced environment.
- Perform at the intermediate level in using the Microsoft Office package.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE
- Successful production management experience in a warehouse distribution environment utilizing high tech sorting equipment.
- Experience working with a start up operation is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills are a plus.
