Marketing Manager (IPS)

Major Job Responsibilities
May include one or more of the following, depending on assigned area:
- Develops, coordinates, and produces marketing communications materials in various media:
- Initiates or receives project requests and establishes and monitors project schedule
- Collects, compiles, analyzes, and organizes appropriate information
- Applies creative and marketing expertise to ensure final output appropriately addresses needs, deadlines and budgets
- Collaborates with appropriate associates to ensure accuracy and adequacy of all materials
- Negotiates with and selects outside vendors to obtain competitive prices on best quality materials
- Writes and creates articles, letters, mailings, web pages, presentations etc. to clearly communicate the organization’s positioning and messages
- Edits and proofs materials to ensure accordance with high quality standards
- Coordinates production and distribution through internal or external resources
- Oversees distribution of published and electronic materials, ensuring proper timing and distribution to appropriate internal and external recipients
- Recommend strategic project plans to accomplish marketing objectives:
- Collects, compiles, analyzes and organizes appropriate information
- Identifies, evaluates and recommends possible alternative strategies and tactics
- Develops pro forma plans and project schedules
- Collaborates with appropriate associates to obtain input, approval and coordination of project execution
- Directs and monitors external resources
- Monitors project execution and evaluates results
- Assists with managing, promoting and maintaining the corporate web presence
- Creates, monitors and updates content
- Responds to visitor inquires
- Advises, recommends and assists with execution of enhancements to the content, structure and promotion of the sites
- Serves as a department liaison and resource with client services/client operations/sales associates:
- Attends scheduled update meetings and provides updates on department projects
- Provides leadership and direction in areas of expertise
Secondary Job Responsibilities
May include one or more of the following, depending on assigned area:
- Maintains knowledge of consumer package goods, retail and processing industries and Inmar through training and industry publications.
- Maintains and advances own and corporate knowledge of marketing/promotions strategies and tactics.
- Performs other special projects as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong writing skills with proven ability to communicate complex ideas in writing

EDUCATION:
- Over six years of related work experience in one or more of the following: business-to-business marketing, advertising or promotions agency, and service marketing;
- AND a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university;
- AND a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on general business or marketing (preferred);
- OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.
