Technical skills:

  • UDB/DB2
  • PL SQL
  • data modeling
  • star schema
  • physical architecture (partitioning, cluster)
  • UDB preferable - if all other reqs match then an Oracle background is ok
  • working with large databases - multi terabytes
  • financial knowledge
  • Unix skills
  • Any BI (Business Intelligence) / OLAP exp is a plus

Non-Technical Skills:

  • strong inter-personal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • ability to work in a global team environment
